Mike London
Michael “Mike London” Edwards is a 20-year veteran of the music and television/film industries. He is experienced in music production, arrangement, and songwriting; working with National and International songwriters, producers, and artists such as: Chaka Khan, Jennifer “J-Lo” Lopez (Capital), Rodney “Dark Child” Jerkins, Danity Kane (Bad Boy), State Property (Def Jam), and Raheem DeVaughn.
The making of
the legacy
He was enlisted in the US Army, stationed overseas in Garlsteadt, Germany participating in three tours of active combat in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Southeast Asia during campaign Desert Storm / Desert Shield. He was awarded 3 Bronze Star Medals, the Arcom Commendation Medal, and the Desert Storm Service Medal for his bravery and service.
After his service, he began producing music using the pseudonym “Mike Hype”, and landed his first song placement in 2000 on “Fly Away” by R&B Group Guy. He also worked with with the Untertainment/Sony Records R&B group, Brotha (Cash Money Records/Universal Records). He founded “Tha Co-Op”, studied under legendary producer Teddy Riley; and had placements including Will Smith’s – “Lost and Found” album, two placements in “Hairshow” (starring Monique’ and Joe Tory) and with Def Soul recording group Lovher.
Building the
Future
In 2009 in he re-branded his image, becoming Mike London, and co-founded Mike2Mike Music, with Michael R. Stokes in 2011. The duo worked with Grammy-Nominated songwriter, Shanell Red, on “The Writerz Rumble”, a reality TV show pilot aired in 2013 on Punch TV. His role focused on artist development working with greats like Mary Brown, Taj Jackson, and Steve Russell to name a few. He also worked on projects for various projects under Sony Music Group.
In 2016, he Co-Founded Hickory Music Group, LLC, in Las Vegas, NV. In 2019, he co-founded “FMF Vegas” (Fashion, Music, Film), an industry convention that highlights the work of Minorities, Women, and other marginalized groups within entertainment. He was also Co-Music Supervisor for the short film “What If Then What?” created by producer Squeeky Moore.


Film, Television,
and beyond
Mike London co-produced “In The Mix Now”, a weekly urban-entertainment show filmed in Las Vegas, NV, as well as hosting and co-producing “Yacky Tacky – the Wacky Word Game” which aired on the CW Las Vegas.
Currently, Mike London serves the Vice-President of Hickory Music Group overseeing Artist Development and Production, and Vice-President/Executive Producer of MoPhilly Productions, overseeing the music supervision and sound production, He is also co-creator of the NFT-based clothing line, Johnny Fang.
